The Ultra Commercial function is responsible for negotiating the terms and conditions in contracts, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise in the management of contracts made with customers, vendors, partners, or employees. This role performs an important oversight function to ensure adherence to internal procedures on bid management and approval and acts as the conduit between the sales and technical teams and other group functions, including finance and legal. The ideal candidate will have the technical/professional knowledge to make independent judgements, based on practice and relevant previous experience to support decision making. Often seen as a referral point or more senior team member to escalate more complex problems. The role will require the preparation of routine and some complex contracts for the protection of company's contractual posture, satisfaction of government specifications and requirements, and adherence to company policy. The role will conduct negotiations and administration of contracts between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures and government regulations. The Role will require researching contractual terms and conditions and employing technical concepts. The role will act independently at times with necessary guidance.
