About The Position

The position of Intern will perform duties relative to their department to assist in achieving the overall goals of the Bank. The role will require some essential functions to be performed independently, however, the incumbent will often be expected to work in a team environment as well. Internship will be fully on-site in Westborough, MA

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required
• Students entering their Junior or Senior year of college
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers
• Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis for any employer without restriction
• Visa Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Nice To Haves

• Previous employment experience in a bank, accounting or finance environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of the workflows and compliance related concerns of Commercial Loan Operations and origination.
• Learn and become familiar with internal commercial loan systems, for overview knowledge and understanding.
• Assist in the booking of commercial loans to the core system, to gain experience and exposure to commercial banking operations.
• Review commercial Loan packages to verify all the required documentation, both internal and external has been received and completed appropriately.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks depending on departmental assignments.
