About The Position

Position General Responsibilities: Process and approved commercial, agricultural and some consumer loan requests. Inspections and verification of collateral and evaluation of operations through field inspections. Development of new business by expanding existing relationships and calling on potential customers. Cross sell Bank products. Represent the Bank in various community activities. Education, Experience and Certification Requirements: Note: Only minimum responsibilities are listed. Other responsibilities may be required as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, agricultural business or equivalent education/work experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years previous commercial or agricultural lending experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analyzing credit requests, collateral analysis, proper structuring and pricing of loans and collections.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access.
  • Proven ability for business development.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide information in concise verbal and written formats.
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial, ag, consumer, residential (secondary market), and credit card loan programs.
  • Adhere to Bank policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Credit Analyst experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process and approved commercial, agricultural and some consumer loan requests.
  • Inspections and verification of collateral and evaluation of operations through field inspections.
  • Development of new business by expanding existing relationships and calling on potential customers.
  • Cross sell Bank products.
  • Represent the Bank in various community activities.
  • Analyze credit requests and make sound credit decisions in a timely manner.
  • Servicing of commercial, ag, consumer, residential and credit card customers.
  • Collection of past due accounts; management of OREO, etc.
  • Keep informed of SBA, FMHA, and MBOI loan programs.
  • Properly structure and price loan relationships.
  • Assist all junior lenders and loan processors.
  • Perform field and/or business inspections of existing and potential loan customers to verify the adequacy of collateral securing the credit, as well as to evaluate the general management and condition of the operation.
