Job Title: Commercial Loan Officer II Here’s how you’ll make an impact Responsible for performing a variety of duties to meet the commercial service needs of business clients within the Commercial Loan department.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in a related field of study required; specialized commercial lending education and training preferred
  • Minimum of five years experience usually required; thorough knowledge of all company commercial products and services; adept in sales and communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and all levels of management
  • Moderate use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel and Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

  • Jointly establishes quantitative commercial services objectives, with assigned supervisor, on an annual basis (integrated with the department’s annual operating plan).
  • Solicits new business from present and prospective clients; maintains ongoing business relations with present clients in order to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities; makes group sales calls for new business development.
  • Provides client information on a timely basis in order that this information may be included as part of client service and credit file history.
  • Monitors individual goals versus objectives on a regular basis and discusses performance with appropriate supervisor on a frequent basis.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all commercial products and services in order to ascertain client needs and to cross sell in conjunction with the needs.
  • Provides service to commercial clients with respect to deposit, loan and other miscellaneous products and services; approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority.
  • Assists clients in obtaining specialized services from other company departments as necessary and provides help to clients with specific inquiries or service problems.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of company operating policies and procedures that impact commercial services.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records of all client service calls made and meetings held with present and prospective clients.
  • Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.
