About The Position

Position Summary: Prepares accurate commercial loan documentation packages for various loan types in collaboration with Commercial Lenders and Credit Analysts. Supports the Commercial Loan department with a wide array of duties spanning the commercial customer relationship. Acts as a mentor and expert in the commercial loan administration team. The position requires advanced knowledge of commercial lending structures, collateral perfection, and regulatory frameworks, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate loan closings. Provides oversight and management of a team of Commercial Loan Coordinators.

Requirements

3-5 years of Experience:
Banking and/or loan documentation background, specifically commercial lending
Customer Service
Training, mentoring and leading
Prior Commercial Loan Coordinator experience

Responsibilities

Team Management and Leadership
Conduct and deliver employee performance evaluations in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate and manage job assignments and departmental operations to ensure efficiency
Oversee daily tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines
Monitor staff workloads, vacation schedules and absences to maintain optimal staffing levels
Facilitate the training of new hires and provide continuous mentorship within the department
Coordinate and conduct monthly staff meetings as well as individual meetings with team members
Serve as management backup when necessary
