Our Commercial Banking Operations division supports the financial needs of businesses by ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely execution of core lending and treasury activities across the Commercial Banking lifecycle. The team underpins business lines such as Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions, delivering operational rigor that supports lending, cash‑management, and specialized industry solutions. In this role, you will: Review, interpret, and validate complex commercial credit agreements with a high level of detail to ensure loan terms, conditions and structural requirements are accurately reflected in all closing documentation Work pre-close documents for complex commercial loans Accurately evaluate and upload data into the systems of record Ensure compliance with applicable bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Review, credibly challenge, and propose revisions complex loan documents Partner with Underwriting to socialize and confirm implementation of required updates to legal documents to ensure the legal documents align to system functionality Partner effectively with stakeholders in Underwriting, Loan Closing, Portfolio, Borrowing Base Services, Loan Servicing, Product Owners, Control Partners, internal teammates, and other partners on stretch assignments to meet deadlines and deliver quality results Work collaboratively with applicable stakeholders in various groups (Underwriting, Portfolio, internal counsel, Regulatory Interpretation Team, etc.) regarding proper procedures and documentation requirements necessary to ensure accuracy with negotiated terms and ensure alignment with appropriate compliance standards Review and negotiate complex legal documentation, evaluate risks, devise strategies to mitigate documentation risk and identify procedural modifications Provide guidance and training to peers Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Apprentices within the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Apprenticeship program perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of (however, not limited to) on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor. Apprenticeships are designed to assist in the professional development of an apprentice, in preparation for the post-apprenticeship role. Program Managers will facilitate an apprentice’s required path for professional development. This ensures an apprentice will have gained the proficiency and obtained the required experience of a fully functioning post-program role
