Under direct supervision, but following established policies and procedures, processes loans from application to closing. Establishes loan files, prepares loan documents and processes loan files after closing to ensure that documents are recorded with proper recording authority. Inputs loans into bank computer systems and verifies loans input by other Loan Assistant I’s. Processes loan advances and payments including loan payoffs. Provides professional, timely and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include; maintaining lending department specific files, typing routine letters and memos, preparing correspondence in final form, maintaining files and records, and completing special projects as assigned.
