A Day in the Life… Verify, compile, and complete loan applications. Prepare new loan requests to submit to loan processing, review the loan file to verify that data is complete and meets established standards. Process documentation of loans and extensions, close loans and prepare for booking, as well as compute payment and interest. Resolve exceptions or any other documentation deficiencies along with actively managing outstanding exception items for compliance with Credit Policy. Work closely with the assigned officers to assist in collecting financial data and member phone/email communication to better manage the overall member relationship. Monitor reports such as past due, paid off loans, criticized assets, and maturing loan lists to assist and proactively inform officer of potential or pending issues Coordinate and facilitate funding of construction loan disbursements when needed. Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Have 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Previous loan or loan documentation experience.
  • Good understanding of financial institution products and services.

Responsibilities
