The Commercial Loan Assistant I is responsible for coordinating and collecting necessary documentation from clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely loan closings. This role involves ordering and reviewing various third-party reports such as title, appraisal/evaluation, UCC searches, environmental screens, flood determinations, and insurance. The assistant must ensure proper documentation and loan coding adhere to regulatory requirements, review loan documents for accuracy, and escalate issues when necessary. Maintaining accurate loan data in the loan origination system, researching and resolving loan-related issues, and collaborating with external parties like title companies and insurance agencies are also key functions. Additionally, the position requires performing or requesting maintenance and servicing on commercial loans, participating in team meetings, and consistently applying the Bank's compliance and risk management policies while delivering high-level customer service.
