About The Position

At Insurance Lounge, we believe insurance should feel simple, supportive, and human—and our Commercial Insurance Host plays a key role in making that happen. In this role, you’ll partner directly with our commercial clients to ensure their coverage continues to protect what matters most to their businesses. You’ll guide clients through renewals, proactively manage policy servicing, handle endorsements and updates, and confidently support agency-billed accounts with accuracy and care. As a Commercial Insurance Host, you’ll also collaborate closely with our Insurance Concierge team to support clients through sales, renewals and service. Your focus is on building trust, strengthening long-term client relationships, and making sure every business owner feels supported, heard, and confident in their coverage—every step of the way. A current Insurance license, previous sales experience, and a positive, motivated attitude are required to be considered for this position.

Requirements

Active Oregon resident P&C license
Previous experience with commercial service and sales with Direct and Broker markets
Familiarity with P&C carriers and commercial lines carriers and coverages
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and complete quotes and service work in a timely manner
Produce high quality, professional informational materials for clients, as needed
Ability to clearly explain the details and implications of coverages to clients.

Responsibilities

Working with clients and insurance carriers to evaluate the best options for commercial lines of insurance on a case-by-case basis
Provide client support and knowledgeable guidance during the policy writing and renewal processes
Prepare and present policy/coverage options and information to clients
Follow documentation policies and procedures to ensure client records are maintained within the client management database
Seasonal flexibility for increased customer traffic
Address day-to-day client matters in a timely manner, including questions and issues surrounding claims, eligibility, enrollment, and rates.
