About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our fast-growing and talented team in Totowa, NJ. Requirements

• Commercial lines product knowledge (Property and condominium experience is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of CSR experience and a valid property casualty license.
• Excellent client relations and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including agency management systems (Applied Epic experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all account transactions, including quoting, applications, ID cards, endorsements, proposals, coverage summaries, certificates, and binders for assigned accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier underwriting requirements.
• Conduct renewal reviews and quote/remarket policies as needed.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from clients, companies, and producers.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and suggest coverage upgrades.
• Document all activities in the agency management system, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Adhere to agency billing, premium collection, and underwriting guidelines.
• Obtain client sign-off for declined recommended coverages.
