Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-time work experience, or at least a two year college degree.
Basic computer/data entry skills (agency management, word processing, spreadsheets).
Good interpersonal skills and customer focus.
The ability to do detailed work effectively and efficiently.
The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Process endorsements, audit, policies, cancellations, reporting forms and invoicing according to R&Y procedures manual within acceptable time frame and with accuracy.
Issue new and renewal certificates of insurance and EPI’s.
Prepare and secure premium finance agreements and surplus lines non-admitted forms, as well as mod master.
Obtain P&C license after six months on the job.
Create/prepare proposals and presentations from direction of Client Managers.
Prepare various reports, exhibits and spreadsheets, including premium and loss recap, schedules of insurances, etc.
Input new client data and assist in applications for renewal process.
Maintain good documentation through use of good scanning procedures, telephone logs, notes, etc.
Handle team’s client discrepancies in a timely fashion.
Collect underwriting information such as loss runs, MVR’s, driver’s list, and experience mod worksheets.
Sort and distribute mail daily for team.
Maintain and monitor daily suspense to follow up on items requested of clients and carriers.
