Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of Insurance Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of insurance products, coverage types, and rating concepts, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Developing decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning agency management systems and other office software.
  • Clear and respectful communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Shows professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude in daily interactions.
  • Works well with others and contributes to a supportive, team-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, policy checks, and billing.
  • Answer client questions, gather information, provide proofs of insurance, and assist with renewal processes.
  • Access carrier systems, obtain necessary documents, and assist with carrier communications.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by documenting all client and carrier interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; participate in regular team meetings.
  • Complete general administrative tasks including answering calls, handling mail, and performing clerical duties.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet established quality and timeliness performance metrics.
  • Adhere to documented processes and procedures outlined in the servicing workflow.
