Job Summary: The primary role of the Associate Account Manager is to provide excellent customer service to our policyholders and prospects by answering their inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and have a good understanding of insurance products and services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in customer service, in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Property & Casualty License preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from policyholders and prospects.
  • Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure
  • Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker
  • Create billing activities for accounting. This function may involve reviewing the insured’s account, obtaining finance agreements and collect payment from the insured.
  • Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure.
  • Keep all information in agency management system accurate including driver/vehicles schedules
  • Activity all correspondence, email, phones calls, etc. in agency management system
  • Utilize suspense system for pending items
  • Provide back up for other agency service staff as needed
