Commercial Lines Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. This role requires a balance of technical insurance knowledge, client management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management or a related field.
Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage types, underwriting, and claims processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Proficient in using agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Capacity to anticipate issues, develop solutions, and respond to client needs proactively.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts, ensuring clients' needs are met promptly and professionally.
Address inquiries related to policy coverage, changes, billing, renewals, and claims processing.
Work closely with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions for clients.
Proactively identify and address potential coverage gaps and provide clients with recommendations for enhanced coverage options.
Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
Oversee account renewals, negotiating terms with carriers to secure the best options for clients.
Consistently ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards during all account servicing activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities and support potential new business.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to better serve clients.
