About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a full book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting new business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a predominantly remote environment.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance, with surplus lines experience preferred
• Proficiency in Applied Systems Epic is highly desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Personable and approachable demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business valued at over $1.5 million, with account sizes ranging from $5,000 to $500,000
• Handle claims and payment assistance for clients
• Conduct policy renewals, coverage reviews, pricing, and delivery
• Support new business sales, including sourcing, quote preparation, and presentation
• Prepare Acord and application forms
• Manage inbound and outbound sales and service phone calls
• Perform data entry and maintain records in the Applied Systems Epic agency management system
• Collaborate with MGAs and underwriters to ensure efficient account management
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily tasks
