About The Position

Kismet client, Gilbert's Risk Solutions, a 150+ year independent agency with a reputation for integrity, service, and long-standing client relationships, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager. This position will take ownership of an established book of business, delivering exceptional service with confidence and independence. In this role, you’ll manage small, middle market and complex accounts and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll also partner with producers to drive renewals and new business success.

Requirements

Commercial P&C insurance experience
Active Property & Casualty license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent judgment, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management
High proficiency in agency management systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office
A growth mindset with commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead liaison between clients, carriers, and producers
Manage all servicing activities—including endorsements, policy changes, renewals, certificates, and checking/binding policies
Advise clients on coverage needs, gaps, solutions, and risk management strategies
Resolve issues related to claims, billing, coverage questions, or service challenges
Work with producers on new accounts
Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation
Contribute to a collaborative team while working independently with accountability
