Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in both insurance and customer service is required.
  • Must hold an Active Texas Property & Casualty License.
  • High School Diploma required; college coursework is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to perform essential calculations involving decimals and fractions for policy assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Oil & Gas insurance experience is highly preferred and can substitute for software proficiency.
  • Experience with Indio and EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a commercial book of business ensuring high retention and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and driving retention by proactively guiding them through coverage questions, policy changes, and billing inquiries.
  • Maintain meticulous client files and service timelines in EPIC, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of endorsements, audits, and premium finance agreements.
  • Expertly handle certificate requests and contract reviews while maintaining strict confidentiality and absolute ownership over the accuracy of all client materials. Note: Experience with Oil & Gas accounts is a significant asset for this role.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal skills to collaborate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth account administration.
  • Demonstrate self-reliance to investigate coverage issues and resolve inquiries promptly, delivering professional solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Apply outstanding organizational skills to prioritize renewals and daily transactions, while providing backup coverage for teammates to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, legislation, and new products while managing continuing education (CE) to keep your P&C license active.
