Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account management, with a focus on large accounts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills to interact with clients, underwriters, and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AMS360, ImageRight, and email systems is preferred.
  • Experience with middle-market and large accounts, particularly in energy, manufacturing, distribution, construction, and property sectors, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of middle-market and large commercial accounts, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, and property accounts.
  • Handle all aspects of account management, including quoting new/renewal business, reviewing quotes, preparing proposals, invoicing, premium financing, policy summaries, endorsements, contract reviews, and audit questions.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, account executives, underwriters, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to analyze and manage data effectively.
  • Attend client meetings and interact professionally with clients and underwriters.
  • Provide support for certificates of insurance (COIs), auto ID cards, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and client-facing skills in all interactions.
