About The Position
Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Specialist to join their team in Syracuse, New York. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
- New York State P&C Insurance license
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Nice To Haves
- AMS exposure, a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service by supporting new business, renewals, and day-to-day account needs.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Carrier Partners to ensure effective communication and seamless program management.
- Maintain proficiency in client management systems (ImageRight, CSR24) and carrier websites for billing, endorsements, and loss runs.
- Manage correspondence and documentation accurately and on time to meet departmental standards.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to team success by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills while modeling professionalism and leadership.
