• Responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing clients. • Determine credit eligibility by analyzing financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit risk to ensure sound lending decisions. Structure, underwrite and present credit requests, including commercial mortgages, term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing and cash management related solutions. • Negotiates terms of credit including pricing, repayment method and schedule, and collateral requirements. • Manage portfolio within established lending criteria, including covenant compliance, renewals and risk ratings, and maximize profitability to the bank. • Develop on-going business development plan that garners new business for the bank by proactively identifying, soliciting, and originating new commercial lending opportunities through networking, referrals and community involvement. • Monitor loan repayment activity and develop plan of action for any troubled credits. • Responsible for originating new business, structuring credit solutions and maintaining strong relationships with business clients while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. • Oversees proper handling of customer transactions such as advances, payments, wire transfers, etc. • Represent the bank through participation in local business organizations and community events.
