A day in this role Sunrise, you review your work orders, load your van, and head to a nearby customer site. By mid-morning, you’re installing a new commercial washer, wiring single‑phase power, and running start‑up checks. After lunch, you diagnose a dryer issue, explain your findings to the client, and place a parts order through our dispatch/ticketing system. Late afternoon, you document the job, update inventory in your vehicle, and call the Service Manager to escalate a complex case and share a process improvement idea. If an emergency ticket pops up in your territory, you’re ready to respond. What you’ll do Install, service, and repair commercial laundry equipment to company quality standards, safety protocols, and procedures. Start up and test equipment; verify proper operation and performance. Provide on‑site customer support: diagnose issues, share findings and recommendations, and train users on proper operation after installation or repair. Perform routine preventive maintenance; disassemble/reassemble equipment and components for service. Order and track parts; remove items for repair and replace worn or faulty components. Review work orders and invoices to ensure timely parts procurement and on‑time completion. Maintain accurate job reports, expense submissions, and vehicle inventory records. Travel in a company vehicle within your service territory for installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency/unscheduled requests assigned by the Service Manager. Communicate escalations to the Service Manager and contribute to best practices and process improvements. Support other departmental needs to keep operations running smoothly.
