About The Position

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to support and maintain our Colorado restaurant locations (Aurora, Commerce City, and Colorado Springs). This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with commercial hot and cold kitchen equipment, small refrigeration, and food service systems. As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our restaurants operating smoothly and safely. You'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, including hot-side and cold-side equipment and small refrigeration systems. You'll also coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure equipment issues are resolved quickly and correctly.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment (hot and cold equipment required; small refrigeration strongly preferred).
  • Technical training or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial foodservice equipment preferred.
  • A clean driving record and a current, valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, ranges, fryers, steamers, warmers, refrigeration units, and ice machines.
  • Diagnose and repair hot-side and cold-side equipment, including small refrigeration and HVAC-adjacent systems.
  • Respond to service calls efficiently, accurately, and with a strong sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues in restaurant environments.
  • Communicate with internal coordinators and follow up with local vendors to ensure timely and effective repairs.
  • Oversee small construction, installation, and equipment repair projects as needed.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, replacement parts, tools, and spare equipment.
  • Schedule and complete planned maintenance services to extend equipment life and ensure safety compliance.
