About The Position

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a team. This role involves collaboration with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to manage and service commercial insurance accounts effectively. Requirements

  • Proven work experience in commercial insurance, account management, or similar roles.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage types, and policy management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, navigate negotiations, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in insurance CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or related field preferred (equivalent work experience also considered).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand and address their commercial insurance needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring all policies are current, accurate, and meet client standards.
  • Guide clients through the insurance process, including policy placement, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and policy changes to meet client goals.
  • Review insurance policies and documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide excellent client service by promptly addressing questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including producers, underwriters, and customer service teams, to deliver seamless support to clients.
  • Proactively cross-sell and identify opportunities for additional coverage or products that align with clients' evolving needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance regulations, and changes in the market that may impact clients.
  • Use CRM systems and other tools to document client interactions and ensure accurate records are maintained.
