As a Commercial Technician, you’ll be responsible for the expert installation and service of commercial and industrial door systems—including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, dock equipment, and more. You’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, code-compliant, and high-performance systems to our customers, backed by exceptional workmanship and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and use hand/power tools with confidence.
  • Strong understanding of safety best practices and mechanical systems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow complex install specs.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in commercial garage door installation and service preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally service and install a variety of commercial door systems and dock equipment.
  • Install and replace custom garage door systems and components
  • Repair commercial and residential doors and openers
  • Troubleshoot and program garage door electronics
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Install and configure motors for residential and commercial use
  • Deliver top-tier customer service
  • Operate scissor lifts (training and certification provided)
  • Practice and promote strict adherence to safety guidelines, including OSHA standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation—notes, diagrams, and job photos.
  • Communicate clearly with customers to explain product features and proper system operation.
  • Use ServiceTitan or similar software for job tracking and workflow updates.
