About The Position

Position Summary: Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems.

Requirements

• Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
• Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training
• Ability to work well independently or as a team
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice
• Ability to work out of town when necessary
• Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to work off ladders & lifts
• Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Basic written and verbal English language communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous HVAC experience in a commercial application is preferred
• Enrollment in apprenticeship program or technical/trade school is preferred
• Previous experience reading blue prints is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle as needed
• Work well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractors
• Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner
• Installation of ductwork in a neat & professional manner
• Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized
• Attend continued professional HVAC training as scheduled by management
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
