About The Position

ChillTex Heating, Cooling & Mechanical Services is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our expanding commercial division.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Drug-free workplace compliance
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems (including chillers and boilers)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Commitment to doing the job right the first time
• Safety-focused mindset
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform thorough system checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time
• Communicate clearly with customers about services performed and system condition
• Identify potential issues and recommend solutions to prevent future breakdowns
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including system age and condition
• Present high-efficiency equipment options when appropriate
• Educate customers on maintenance memberships and benefits
• Follow all safety protocols on job sites and while driving
• Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and professional at all times
• Generate leads through service calls (avg. 1 lead per 5 repair calls / 1 per 10 maintenance calls)
• Maintain strong membership conversion (25%+) and renewal rates (90%)
• Deliver honest recommendations—no unnecessary repairs, ever
• Represent ChillTex with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
