The technician will utilize expertise in electronics, direct digital control, airflow, refrigeration theory, and control and mechanical techniques. Responsibilities include serving as the direct customer contact, servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction through identification, diagnosis, and repair at customer locations. The role requires coordination with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, including forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work. Technicians must stay current on Trane products related to DDC systems, enforce safety standards, and maintain accountability for company assets. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays is required.
