About The Position

Esser Plumbing & Heating is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer to work on commercial and industrial projects. If you take pride in quality workmanship and can lead or support a crew from start to finish, we want to meet you.

Requirements

• 3+ years HVAC installation experience (5+ preferred)
• Commercial/industrial experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• HVAC training/apprenticeship preferred
• Strong work ethic, communication, and leadership skills
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 60 lbs., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, bending, kneeling, and working in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and applicable drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Minnesota Drug and Alcohol Testing in the Workplace Act (DATWA) and other applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specs
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshoot installation issues
• Work with contractors and team members to meet deadlines
• Maintain job documentation
• Train apprentices and run jobs based on experience
