About The Position

State Mechanical Services is a 20+ year commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor specializing in design/build construction and customized preventive maintenance programs. We are hiring a high-performing, relationship-driven B2B sales professional to convert completed construction projects into multi-year maintenance agreements. This role owns the bridge between Construction and Service — turning one-time projects into recurring revenue, long-term client partnerships, and sustained service growth. Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling contract-based or service-based solutions
  • Strong consultative communication and negotiation skills
  • CRM proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license with local travel capability

  • Preventive maintenance agreement sales

Responsibilities

  • Identify completed construction projects eligible for maintenance conversion
  • Review equipment schedules, warranties, and system documentation
  • Conduct post-construction site visits and client meetings
  • Develop and present tailored preventive maintenance proposals
  • Negotiate and secure multi-year service agreements
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline forecasting and documentation
  • Coordinate structured turnover between Construction and Service
  • Sustain client engagement to support retention and account growth
