General Parts is building the best team of Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians in Green Bay, Wisconsin We are actively seeking a Hot-Side technician, a mechanically inclined professional who can accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gas, electric, steam, and similar types of commercial kitchen equipment. Requirements

  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Two years of relevant experience, education, or military experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
  • Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
  • Must be highly safety-conscious.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • CFESA Certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment that uses gas, electric, and steam to include grills, ovens, freezers, etc.
  • Keeps the customer and branch office updated on repair status and part requests to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Completes appropriate technical and manufacturing training/certification ongoing.
  • Adheres company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Manages truck inventory and keeps service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Heritage standards of excellence.
  • Willingness to work 40-hour weekly schedule and on-call nights and weekends as required
