About The Position

We are currently seeking for the ideal candidate who not only has the right skills but also the purpose-drive to be part of the continuing growth of our Fleet/Commercial sales department. The commercial fleet outside sales representative is a field-based professional responsible for driving revenue by acquiring new business and managing existing client relationships within a specific geographic territory. This role acts as a primary liaison between a company and its commercial clients, focusing on face-to-face interactions to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous fleet sales experience (at least 2 years)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft: Word/Excel
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening, drug test and DMV screening with clean driving record
  • Exceptional face-to-face communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated: ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively without daily supervision
  • Negotiation: proven ability to handle objections and close complex deals
  • Technical Proficiency: skilled in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Organization skills: ability to meet deadlines and carry out your duties more efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively hunt for new business through cold calling, networking, and industry research.
  • Relation Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, such as purchasing agents or business owners.
  • Field Activities: Conduct in-person meetings to determine vehicles needs and discuss vehicle options and product demonstrations. Work with the service department for leads.
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare detailed sales proposals, negotiate contract terms between customer and lender and close deals. Must follow up with prospective customers regarding pricing via text, phone or email in a timely fashion.
  • CRM Management: Log all activities, leads, and customer interactions into CRM software to track the sales pipeline.
