The Commercial Finance Intern will work closely with the Commercial Finance team as a finance business partner supporting commercial teams. This role provides hands-on experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, helping enable business success through collaborative financial insights and data-driven decision making. The intern will gain exposure to real-world commercial finance activities including actual vs. forecast reporting, weekly indicators, profitability analysis, and cash flow management.

  • Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, Recent Graduate
  • GPA: Min 3.0
  • Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 18, 2025 – Aug 7, 2025
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis to assist with effective resource allocation and business planning
  • Assist with financial reporting, including updating reports and performing variance analysis of actual results versus forecast
  • Participate in quarterly and weekly forecast analysis
  • Support cash flow management activities for the business unit, including analysis of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and CAPEX investments
  • Analyze customer and competitor financial information and provide constructive insights to support commercial competitiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting needs
