About The Position

As a Field Supervisor with Lawton Commercial Services – DFW Electrical Division, you will play a key leadership role in field operations by overseeing day-to-day job site activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. You will serve as a critical liaison between field crews, management, and customers, fostering clear communication and strong working relationships. Additionally, you will be expected to lead by example, providing hands-on support in the field, as well as mentoring and training apprentices and junior electricians to uphold company standards and promote professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License
  • Valid Texas Driver License with Clean Driving Record
  • 5+ years of commercial electrical field experience, including supervisory or leadership roles
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Evening, weekend, and overtime work may be required to meet project deadlines or respond to service needs.
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check

  • Proficient in using electronic maintenance and project management software. (Service Titan)

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally and with a customer-focused approach on job sites and in all client communications.
  • Supervise and support electricians and apprentices on commercial job sites to ensure safe, high-quality, and code-compliant work.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate field activities for installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance projects.
  • Collaborate with Operations Management on scope execution, resource allocation, labor planning, and job costing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews, project managers, clients, inspectors, and contractors.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and job orders to ensure accurate implementation and construct templates or reference points for workers.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local building codes.
  • Utilize electronic maintenance programs and computer information management systems to track work orders, materials, and job progress.
  • Participate in job planning meetings and assist with accurate forecasting of labor and material needs.
  • Assist with material procurement and maintain detailed records of site activity, timelines, material usage, and project changes.
  • Perform skilled repairs or maintenance using hand and power tools, hydraulic presses or shears, and welding equipment as needed.
  • Support company initiatives related to workplace safety, quality assurance, and employee development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
