About The Position

BOA® Technology builds the scientifically proven and patented BOA® Fit System, partnering with market-leading brands to enhance gear performance through precise fit. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with international offices, BOA Technology Inc. is a global company. This Commercial Director role, reporting to the VP General Manager Americas, is a key leader within BOA’s global Commercial team. The team focuses on building strategic partnerships to grow BOA’s market share and brand positioning. The director will contribute to the organizational strategic plan and execute the 2-year Operating Plan for assigned industry responsibilities within BOA’s Americas business. The role may involve leading a team of regional Account Managers, planning, and directly managing key Brand Partner accounts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of account management, sales or product marketing experience
  • Exposure to and experience working with product development teams in assigned segments
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a team
  • Authentic interest and passion in one or more of assigned segments
  • The ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe
  • Comfort and experience providing public presentations
  • Ability/flexibility to travel domestically up to 25% (via air and ground), and internationally one time per year

Responsibilities

  • Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the Commercial team and rest of the organization
  • Inspire, empower and develop a team of Account Managers on all aspects of building BOA’s business (relationship development, solution development, planning, building the BOA brand) and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Set and review performance/development goals for all direct reports, discuss feedback regularly throughout the year, and formally summarize during performance reviews
  • Provide key contributions to the development of both the organizational and Commercial annual strategic plans within the scope of their respective geography and Industry responsibilities.
  • Directly incorporate our Strategic Plan into our short-mid- and long-term Commercial Operating plan, in addition to quarterly presentations to deliver updates/insights that reliably inform organizational needs manage our business.
  • Lead across the organization to align key executional outcomes across cross-functional regional peers (Commercial/Marketing/Partner Product Innovation and Design) and Regional VP.
  • Build the strategic key Brand Partners (BPs) partnership plans to achieve BOA’s 2YR and 5YR revenue/model adoption plan, aligned to our Industry strategies
  • Develop relationships with strategic BP contacts across product/marketing/operations from C-Suite down
  • Direct complex BP relationships and internal stakeholders to align BPs to BOA’s Commercial and Brand Guidelines focusing on positioning, representation and messaging
  • Lead and mentor the Account Management team on the BOA sell-in process and through creation and delivery of professional presentations
  • Develop a shared BP strategic line plan and product vision with the Partner Product Innovation and Design (PPID) team to apply solutions to brand partner products that transform fit and performance
  • Effectively prioritize PPID resources, aligning Brand Partner development calendars with proposed segment plan and supporting BOA’s development process from end to end
  • Accountable to the expression of the BOA brand within all BP’s, align resource allocations and support with Regional GM VP and regional marketing teams
  • Manage team execution of our CRM platform (we use Microsoft XRM), completing required reporting, and presenting business insights to internal audiences

  • Budgeted salary range: $115,000 - $160,000
