About The Position

Chevyland is seeking a self-motivated salesperson to lead our Commercial Sales Department. You will be managing existing and seeking out new companies to sell vehicles to, primarily new Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. We also stock and sell new Colorado, Express Vans, among many preowned options as well. This position has a small salary with most income generated through a commission based pay plan. With success in this role, there is a high likelihood of this salesperson being promoted to the director of the department and hiring salespeople to grow the department. Experience preferred but not required. Truck knowledge or a super fast learner is a must.

Requirements

  • Sales experience (commercial or automotive).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer skills.
  • Truck knowledge or a super fast learner is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Management : Find new business clients via phone, field visits, and managing CRM leads.
  • Customer Consultation : Understand business transportation needs, present suitable truck options (specs, applications), and explain financing/leasing.
  • Sales Process : Prepare quotes, coordinate test drives, negotiate terms, close sales, and complete accurate paperwork.
  • Product Expertise : Develop deep knowledge of truck models, features, and industry regulations.
  • Relationship Building : Maintain contact with existing clients for repeat business, referrals, parts, and service.
  • Collaboration : Work with finance, service, and parts departments to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Training : Attend meetings and training to stay updated on products and sales techniques.
