About The Position

Commercial Credit Analyst I | Location: 11149 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78759 | Employment Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Monday–Friday from a. 7:30AM to 4:00 PM or b. 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Credit Analyst I who thrives in an analytical, accuracy-focused environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or loan support
  • Ability to analyze financial information and assess credit risk
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Effective communication skills across teams and with members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Good credit standing (verified prior to interview)
  • Successful background check and drug screening upon offer

Nice To Haves

  • Prior credit union or financial institution experience
  • Experience with Symitar/Episys, Sageworks, or similar credit administration systems

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and spread financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documents for new and existing business loan relationships
  • Perform annual reviews and ongoing financial analysis to assess borrower performance and credit risk
  • Identify and escalate credit concerns or material changes in borrower financial condition
  • Monitor loan covenants, collateral, insurance, and reporting requirements
  • Follow up with members, lenders, and external partners to obtain required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and compliant commercial loan files
  • Review commercial loan documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare monitoring and management reports related to portfolio performance and compliance
  • Utilize loan and credit administration systems to support documentation, tracking, and reporting workflows
  • Communicate effectively with lenders, members, and internal teams to resolve documentation or reporting needs
  • Support cross-selling efforts by identifying appropriate credit union products and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department objectives
