About The Position
Responsibilities: Project Management & Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project flow. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality control standards, and address any potential issues. Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures (e.g., OSHA standards) to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks, addressing potential hazards and promoting a culture of safety. Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for the project manager, clients, architects, and subcontractors. Provide regular, detailed progress reports to the project manager, including updates on schedule, budget, and any unforeseen challenges. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, RFI’s, submittals, and change orders. Effectively communicate project goals, expectations, and any changes to all on-site personnel. Financial & Resource Management: Work closely with the project manager to manage project budgets and control costs. Monitor and track material and equipment deliveries, ensuring availability as needed. Identify and resolve on-site issues to prevent costly delays and rework.
