About The Position

A construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is hiring a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role where you run the site — managing subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and delivering projects on time, on budget, and to specification. You will work directly with Project Managers and senior leadership, with a clear path to Senior Superintendent through demonstrated performance on larger projects. Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Senior Foreman
Strong knowledge of commercial construction procedures and methods
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Excellent organizational and communication skills
OSHA training/certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Experience with Autodesk Build
Background in commercial projects in the $2M–$20M+ range
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily construction operations on-site and maintain full OSHA safety compliance
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to keep projects moving
Perform quality control inspections throughout every phase of construction
Manage labor, equipment, and material logistics across the project site
Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules and lead weekly foreman meetings
Track and report project issues in real time while maintaining detailed daily job logs
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Review monthly requisitions with the Project Manager
Manage site access and security
