About The Position

A construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is hiring a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role where you run the site — managing subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and delivering projects on time, on budget, and to specification. You will work directly with Project Managers and senior leadership, with a clear path to Senior Superintendent through demonstrated performance on larger projects. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Senior Foreman
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction procedures and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • OSHA training/certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Autodesk Build
  • Background in commercial projects in the $2M–$20M+ range
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily construction operations on-site and maintain full OSHA safety compliance
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to keep projects moving
  • Perform quality control inspections throughout every phase of construction
  • Manage labor, equipment, and material logistics across the project site
  • Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules and lead weekly foreman meetings
  • Track and report project issues in real time while maintaining detailed daily job logs
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Review monthly requisitions with the Project Manager
  • Manage site access and security
