About The Position

A construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of commercial construction projects from planning through completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication across every phase of the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where you drive results — not just monitor them. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • OSHA certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with Autodesk Build
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Contract negotiation experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop scopes of work and procure subcontractors for each project phase
  • Negotiate vendor and subcontractor contracts to protect budgets and timelines
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and field teams to keep projects aligned
  • Conduct frequent job site visits to verify progress and quality
  • Plan and manage resources, budgets, and project schedules
  • Hire, oversee, and hold subcontractors accountable to deliverables
  • Track schedule adherence and resolve issues before they escalate
  • Ensure full OSHA safety compliance across all job sites
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and monthly requisitions
