Position Overview: We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager who thrives on fast-paced environments, has a passion for people, and excels at keeping projects moving smoothly. If you enjoy building relationships, staying organized, and solving challenges, this role is for you. As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with our experienced Project Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure our commercial drywall projects are executed successfully. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project management with a clear path for growth!

Requirements

  • Outgoing Personality: You're a people person! You'll be interacting with various teams and clients, so strong communication skills are a must.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Juggling multiple tasks and deadlines is part of the job, and you know how to keep things organized.
  • Team Player: Construction is a team effort, and we need someone who enjoys working with others toward a common goal.
  • Problem Solver: You're not afraid to think on your feet and come up with solutions.
  • Self-Motivated: You take initiative and look for ways to contribute without being told.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience or education in commercial construction or project coordination, ideally with exposure to drywall, finishing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and Communicate: Engage with project managers, clients, and field teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Support Project Execution: Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing resources to keep our projects on track, on time, and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Coordinate with the field team to maintain the highest standards of workmanship, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solve: Jump in to handle unexpected challenges with creativity and a can-do attitude.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Track project progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Enhance Efficiency: Find ways to improve processes and make a meaningful impact on how we do things.
