About The Position

Innovative Concrete, LLC is on the lookout for a skilled Commercial Concrete Foreman to join our dynamic team. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing the concrete work for various commercial projects, ensuring that everything is executed to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a key role in managing the concrete crew, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your experience in concrete construction will be essential in instructing team members and resolving on-site challenges efficiently. You will lead with a focus on safety protocols and best practices, ensuring a productive work environment for all team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of concrete finishing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, tools, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities of concrete laborers and finishers on job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications, assigning tasks accordingly.
• Ensure high-quality concrete work is completed on schedule and meets all specifications.
• Actively promote and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to report on progress and address issues.
• Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, workforce, and project timelines.
• Participate in the planning and scheduling of concrete pours and finishing operations.
• Address and resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and effectively.
