Commercial Claims Technical Manager This is a remote position Position Summary The Commercial Claims technical manager functions as a consultant to the claims organization to provide consultative expertise on the handling of commercial claims.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years commercial claims experience and 2 years of managerial experience
• Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills
• Demonstrable project management skills
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Excellent knowledge of Commercial Trucking claims.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy file handling processes regarding all aspects of commercial claims handling, including coverage, defense and reserving.
• Coordinates with Learning & Training for the development of adjuster tools and trainings.
• Coordinates Commercial Lines Claim technical claim evaluations and process adherence reviews.
• Works with Innovation to develop and deploy high risk identification and evaluation tools.
• Able to work assigned scheduled subject to GEICO’s flexible schedule policies and practices.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, such as nights, weekends, and holidays in response to business needs.
• Develop strong relationships across product and operations organizations.
• Travel is occasionally required for in-person meetings and training.
