About The Position

The Specialized Industries & Capital Markets (SICM) Group Analyst reports to the Heads of Leisure, Hospitality & Gaming and Food & Beverage and will play an important role assisting the industry team in launching their respective business units, and the origination, underwriting, and portfolio management of corporate clients. This role uses independent judgement in the design and creation of effective materials that will drive new business and support existing clients of the SICM group. Independently manages complex projects resolving issues and adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong accounting skills preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create executive level presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong work ethic and intrinsic motivation to succeed.
High degree of curiosity and learning agility.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong time management.
Ability to rotate across multiple projects / tasks, prioritizing appropriately.

Responsibilities

Supports relationship managers with client coverage, deal execution, and portfolio management including the development of pitchbooks / presentations and other marketing materials.
Conducts financial and credit analysis on corporate clients using financial models and valuation techniques.
Assist in structuring and underwriting credit facilities in support of the credit products team.
Assists with content to support executive presentations, board materials, leadership routines, town halls, and other forums. Content may take the form of presentations, pitchbooks, agendas, executive summary and action items, spreadsheets, or other.
Maintain Teams / SharePoint site and content.
Supports and contributes to the development of SICM Group strategy, strategic plan, and related strategic initiatives.
Analyzes data and makes recommendations based on the results to discern insights and support decision making.
Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support strategic client discussions.
Participate in due diligence and risk management processes.
Collaborate with product partners – treasury, capital markets, risk, leasing, across the bank.
Organizes and manages projects for the leadership team.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
