Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Banking experience preferred with a familiarity with deposit & loan products
  • Commercial banking experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Positive and outgoing individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks while paying attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work well with any aspect of the commercial loan team, from other assistants to senior level commercial loan officers.
  • Experience with word, excel, and other windows-based applications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and review of loan documentation including ordering and reviewing title work and UCC’s, gathering and reviewing entity documents, preparing closing packages, etc.
  • Assist lenders in all aspects of loan closings with customers as needed.
  • Providing excellent customer service for commercial clients for a wide variety of items including loans, deposits, wire transfer needs, etc.
  • Processing wire transfers, overdrafts, lien releases, mortgage discharges, processing credit reports, etc.
  • Assist lenders in the resolution of loan documentation and financial statement exceptions.
  • Creating and managing electronic loan files.
  • Miscellaneous office duties including copying, scanning, organizing events, preparation and management of miscellaneous department reports, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
