About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Auto Adjuster with a focus on Bodily Injury (B/I) claims to join our claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex commercial auto claims involving bodily injury, while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling bodily injury claims, preferably within commercial auto insurance.
• Claims Adjuster license required.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to establish rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions confidently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Claims Handling : Investigate and manage a caseload of commercial auto bodily injury claims from initial report to resolution, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluation & Settlement : Review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documentation to assess liability and damages; negotiate claim settlements in an equitable and efficient manner.
• Customer Interaction : Communicate with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, medical professionals, and other parties involved in a professional and empathetic manner, creating positive experiences for all.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of claim activities, including investigative notes, reports, and settlement information.
• Litigation Support : Collaborate with litigation teams in cases where claims escalate to lawsuits, providing necessary documentation and professional recommendations.
• Compliance : Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations related to claims and insurance practices, ensuring adherence to internal and external guidelines.
• Team Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with colleagues in underwriting, risk management, and other departments to support organizational goals and improve claims service offerings.
