About The Position

About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a well-established, multidisciplinary consulting firm operating across real estate, technical advisory, and professional services. The firm supports institutional clients, lenders, investors, and asset owners on complex real estate and development mandates. This is a newly created role and represents a key strategic hire within the organization. The Role: The firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Appraiser with full independent signing authority to support commercial valuation mandates across Canada. This position is commercial-focused only and requires someone who can operate fully independently from day one, without the need for supervision or co-signing.

Requirements

AACI designation
Authorized to independently sign commercial appraisal reports
Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate appraisal
Comfortable operating as a standalone appraiser
Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel for site inspections as required

Nice To Haves

Experience with institutional or portfolio-based mandates
Exposure to complex or multidisciplinary valuation assignments
Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Independently prepare, sign, and deliver commercial real estate appraisal reports
Value a range of commercial asset types including office, industrial, multi-residential, land, mixed-use, and special-purpose properties
Apply Income, Direct Comparison, and Cost approaches as appropriate
Support multi-provincial and national appraisal mandates
Work directly with institutional, lender, and investor clients
Collaborate with internal technical and advisory teams on integrated mandates
Ensure compliance with professional appraisal standards and reporting requirements
