About The Position

The Commercial Department of a Premier Private Real Estate Owner/Developer and Management company seeks a Commercial Asset Management Analyst. This position reports directly to Senior Director Duties include (but not limited to): Leasing Provide leasing support for areas of the portfolio including financial deal analysis/ LOI response, lease review and deal tracking reports. Effectively present prospects and prospects financial documents (i.e. bank statement, financial statement, etc.) business plans, available financing, and letters of intent to Commercial team. Work with design team on plan updates and management of building drawings and plans. Monthly updates to all stacking plans for assigned buildings. Perform commission calculations Submit monthly commissions to accounting. Issue purchase orders for commission and track payments. Issue Purchase Orders for Tenant Improvements and track TIA requests Compile and present weekly leasing activity reports. Participate in marketing strategy and planning Third Party Managed Assets Oversight of 3rd party manager and management agreement, parking account set up/comp parking/validation log, fixed asset surveys, occupancy tracking, licenses, marketing, parking meters, R&M/Equipment upgrades, variance reports, service contracts, audits, rate changes, valet oversight, budgets/lease commitments. Portfolio Assist with preparation of annual budgets and provide leasing assumptions as required. Prepare reports to alert of any variances from monthly budgets and work with property managers and accounting to determine reasons behind said variances and take corrective action. Update and distribute periodic asset management reports to senior management including overall portfolio occupancy and financial results. Analyze operating reports, construction budgets/ timelines, variance reports from property managers, summarizing findings. Work in a collaborative fashion with property managers, leasing directors, legal counsel, accountants, procurement team and third party agents. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Accounting, Project Management or Public Administration
  • 3-5 year’s work experience in a similar or related position on a full time basis
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Strong Verbal and Written Skills
  • Must be well organized and extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be a self-motivated team member willing to work in a close-knit environment.
  • Yardi, workspeed or other comparable system knowledge
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and all MS office functions.

  • Real Estate background preferred
