About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Commander’s Action Group (CAG) SME to join a team providing expert level support to the commander and their executive staff for all administrative and mission-based tasks. This position supports the 350 Spectrum Warfare Wing. As the CAG SME, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Supports Wing Commander, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff on developing the Command's strategic priorities and synchronizing those efforts across the wing's Special Staff. Develops and coordinates strategic products for use by the command team in communication with higher and peer headquarters and subordinate elements to meet the Wing's mission. Facilitates, frames issues, schedules, and follows up on actions and suspenses for the Command Section. Develops and recommends wing-level procedures that implement DoD, HAF, supported MAJCOM direction, concepts, and procedures for projects and programs. Identifies problems, recommends solutions, and implements changes in policies, procedures, and other improvements to increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Serves on staff and cross enterprise-level teams and or working groups to shape initiatives, assess feasibility, and evaluate progress toward accomplishment of goals and/or resolution of issues. Supports Wing staff in the planning and execution of distinguished visitor events. Serves as the Wing's office of primary responsibility (OPR) on briefing requirements and formats. May be tasked to research and develop routine briefings and specialized presentations for the command section to present at military, industry, congressional, state and local forums. Obtains necessary background information and data to ensure complete coverage of Wing Commander special interest items. Must be able to take leadership intent and work a task to completion with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Master's Degree in an applicable discipline. 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.
  • 10+ years of applicable experience in EW system employment or analysis
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with joint, coalition, and whole-of-government partners.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Staff experience at the wing or higher level (AF preferred)
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of EW/EMSO concepts, mission systems, and operational applications.
  • Experience with RF systems, antenna design, radar systems, or EO/IR sensors.
  • Understanding of weapon system integration processes and military system architecture frameworks.
  • Experience covering increasing responsibilities to include Squadron/Group/Wing/MAJCOM level staff or command experience is desired.
  • Expert level TMT knowledge is highly desired.
