About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated, personable, and solutions-driven Comfort Advisor to work directly with homeowners and light commercial customers, guiding them through HVAC and plumbing solutions that genuinely fit their needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, solving real problems, and earning trust through knowledge and integrity. The Comfort Advisor is responsible for evaluating customer needs, presenting HVAC and plumbing solutions, preparing estimates, and helping customers move forward with confidence. This is a consultative, in-home advisory role that blends technical understanding, strong communication, and relationship-building. Success in this role is not measured by pressure or gimmicks, but by customer satisfaction, ethical recommendations, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience required (home services sales preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical HVAC and plumbing concepts clearly
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Strong time management and follow-through
  • Comfortable accessing attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas for evaluations
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using ServiceTitan
  • HVAC or plumbing field experience or strong technical aptitude
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers in-home or on-site to assess HVAC and plumbing needs
  • Evaluate systems and present solutions including:
  • HVAC system replacements and upgrades
  • Water heaters, water softeners, and filtration systems
  • Repipes, sewer replacements, and other plumbing solutions
  • Educate customers on options, benefits, and long-term value in clear, simple terms
  • Prepare and present accurate estimates using company pricing tools and software
  • Build trust through honest, transparent recommendations
  • Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing teams to ensure jobs are properly scoped and scheduled
  • Follow up on open proposals to help customers move forward
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, estimates, and customer interactions in ServiceTitan
  • Stay current on products, services, rebates, and promotions
  • Support customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and company events as required
